ArtSénal - 2001

This keyboard was the subject of a State order placed on the occasion of the exhibition « L'enfant et les sortilèges », Sénat-Paris, boosted by the artist Lydie ARICKS.

It is created on the basis of a prototype keyboard used within the ensemble « Destructures sonores » (O. SAMOUILLAN, PY LEJEUNE, B. SANZ, F. BOUSQUET), during a Kansas tour, USA.

It is representative of the different tones that the BASCHET brothers encountered during their experimentations.  A chromatic keyboard of 1 octave is joined in the centre.

It has the distinctive feature to be the first keyboard that was entirely created in stainless steel.  It is a living object. (dim. 180 x 120 x 120)
