THE SOUND STRUCTURES
The Sound Structures constitute a contemporary instrumental family revealed in the 1950s by the brothers BASCHET and the composer Jacques LASRY. This discovery is based on the study and the use of a new acoustic principle, consisting in putting in vibration an embeded metallic yard. These very innovative instruments on the aesthetic plan make brothers BASCHET the fathers of the sound sculpture, the works of which represent henceforth in the most prestigious international art galleries.
Frédéric BOUSQUET is a world specialist of the Sound Structures, dedicating itself both to their conception and to their brilliance(. Factor of instruments, researcher associated with the National French Center of Scientific research, he roots these conceptions both in the rigorous knowledge of the know-how BASCHET and the acoustic principle of the embeded rod.Teacher was recognized, he develops for the benefit of numerous bodies the principle of a " pedagogy of the complex sounds ". He pursues an international musical activity mainly within the HOPE musical ensemble and of the STOLON Ensemble, the artistic direction of which he assures. Author of scientific publications, he presents a poetic work through the " Journeys in the Unconscious of Jérémiah HORROX ".

The label " Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" awarded to SOUND STRUCTURES in 2006 and 2011 (lasted 5 years) is a sign of gratitude of the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry, set up to distinguish French companies in the excellent craft and industrial know-how.
